Hello, I’m Victoria Rubasinska and I started up Acupuncture for Pets to provide veterinary acupuncture care for people’s pets in the South and West London areas and beyond.

Member of:

I am a qualified veterinary surgeon and a member of RCVS, BVA, BSAVA and ABVA. Having graduated from Edinburgh University in 2001, I have spent my career working with small animals – people’s pets – from very small Russian hamsters to very large Great Danes and the wonderful variety in between.

I enjoy helping them all to have a good quality of life. Pain control is a fundamental part of this. I have been interested in recognising and managing pain in my patients throughout my career – unlike humans your pets cannot simply tell you when they are in pain, and it can be very difficult to notice the symptoms.

Several years ago I became interested in acupuncture and completed the ABVA Foundation Course. I have been very pleased with the benefits it has brought my patients when they have needed additional or alternative pain relief to conventional medicines.

I believe that a one size fits all is not an appropriate approach for pain control and I like to work alongside you, your vet and other professionals such as physiotherapists to ensure your pet has the best quality of life we can provide.
